Founded in 1990, LIFE Movement, Leven Institute for Expressive Movement has provided transformative workshops and professional certification training programs that focus on healing and transformation through movement.

Our two core programs are Shake Your Soul®: YogaDance and SomaSoul®: Somatic Expressive Therapy. Both can be taken as workshops by individuals or as training programs by a wide range of health care professionals.

Through completing both Shake Your Soul® & SomaSoul® programs, the full 500-hour curriculum at the Leven Institute for Expressive Movement, you will be able to establish yourself as a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT) through the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). You will also have the opportunity to take advanced workshops to become a Leven Institute L.I.F.E. Movement Workshop Leader.
